Here is what most companies do:     they gather together features and benefits about their products, create complicated slides in Power Point, present the information as a huge body of evidence that they are the best of the best, run it through the marketing department to make sure it looks nice and has the company logos, and expect that the audience is as interested in the presentation as they are. They have almost no follow-through, do not ask the audience what it is they would like to know, and often fail to present things using the focuses and language that their audience cares about.

And they often fail to tailor their information to help requisitioners answer the questions that their bosses will ask of them (when the selling company is NOT present) - all of which means: no sale! To complete this picture, they create far too complicated a presentation and succeed in ensuring that their audience not only does not remember all 48 points that were made, but, that they remember none of them! Selling requires that you think about what your buyers want. Not what you want.

You are always there to sell something… always! You are not there to train, to reform, to do anything else except to sell something. That is your key focus.
